PARTICIPATION TERMS

“A Memory of a Plant” is a creative project by Bioaroma Crete exploring memory, scent and the way the same scent can evoke different memories across two generations. One parent or legal guardian and one child are invited to experience the same scent separately and, if selected to continue, respond spontaneously to the question: “What does this scent remind you of?”

At the first stage, one family per submission may register its interest through an adult parent or legal guardian. The proposed child age range is 8 to 17 years. The first phase is intended for families residing in Greece.
Submitting the form constitutes an expression of interest and does not guarantee selection or publication.

  • Bioaroma Crete selects the families that will proceed to the next stage based on creative and organisational criteria.
  • No monetary compensation is provided unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Selected families will receive, free of charge, the product / package required for the project.
  • A shipping address is not requested at Stage 1. It will be requested only from families that are selected.
  • Submitting the Stage 1 form does not constitute consent for filming, publication, organic use or paid media.
  • The relevant consents and video instructions will be provided separately at Stage 2 only to selected participants.

PRIVACY NOTICE

At Stage 1, only the information necessary to manage expressions of interest and communicate with families that may be selected is collected.

  • A short description of who will be taking part

The information is used only to manage the open call, assess expressions of interest and contact families that will proceed to the next stage. No video, image or voice data relating to the child is requested at Stage 1.
Access to the information is limited to authorised members of Bioaroma Crete and the necessary technical providers of the form / website.
Where applicable, participants may request access to, correction of or deletion of their personal data by contacting info@bioaromacrete.com.
